The Credit Rating Agency of Bangladesh Limited (CRAB) awarded the Bank an AA3 rating on long term and ST-2 rating on short Term. AB Bank believes in modernization. The bank took a conscious effort to rejuvenate its past identity – an identity that the bank carried as Arab Bangladesh Bank Limited for twenty five long years. BASIC Bank Limited (Bangladesh Small Industries and Commerce Bank Limited) registered under the Companies Act 1913 on the 2nd of August, 1988, started its operations from the 21st of January ,1989.
