About Me

Mohammad Hatem has emerged as a pioneering force among the influential figures guiding Bangladesh's Ready-Made Garment (RMG) sector toward sustainability and responsible growth. A seasoned entrepreneur, policy advocate, and institutional leader, his career reflects decades of strategic engagement with Bangladesh's economic development. Born and raised in Cumilla, he has embodied the spirit of entrepreneurship since his early years. His multifaceted leadership—spanning industry, education, and policy—makes him a key architect of the RMG sector's future, continually pushing boundaries for green technologies, digitalization of supply chains, and export market diversification.

Currently bringing visionary leadership to one of the country's most vital trade bodies. Served as Director (1996-2001 & 2006-2008), Vice President (2002-2004), Second Vice President (2010-2012), First Vice President (2012-2014) and Executive President (2021-2024). Played a stabilizing role during the volatile transitional period post-August 2024, maintaining industrial harmony.
