International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) Court of Arbitration, HQ in Paris is having its Centenary Celebration in 2023. On this occasion ICC Court will be visiting Bangladesh virtually. ICC HQ and National Committees are arranging programme to celebrate the ICC Court Centenary in 2023. ICC Court was established 100 years ago on 19 January 1923 under the leadership of founding ICC Chairman and French Minister of Commerce Etienne Clementel and ICC founders known as the “Merchants of Peace”.
ICC Bangladesh is organizing a virtual programme on 21 March 2023 from 2.00 to 3.30 p.m. ICC Court President Claudia Salomon, ICC Bangladesh President Mahbubur Rahman and ICC Court Secretary General Alexander G. Fessas will attend the event.
The purpose of the Webinar is to provide ICC Court President Claudia Salomon to meet the members, namely general counsels or in-house counsels from government agencies and enterprises of Bangladesh.
During the Webinar there will be a Roundtable Discussion on Challenges and Best International Practices for Enforcement of Foreign Arbitral Award. The Discussion to be moderated by ICC Bangladesh Commission on Arbitration and ADR Ms. Nihad Kabir, Bar-at-law will be addressed by ICC Court President Caludia Salomon; Mir Nasir Hossain, Managing Director, Mir Akhter Hossain Limited &ICC Bangladesh Executive Board Member; Mr. Kutubuddin Ahmed, Chairman, Envoy Group & ICC Bangladesh Executive Board Member; Mr. Margub Kabir, Bar-at-Law, Advocate, Supreme Court of Bangladesh; Mr. ABM Sertajur Rahman, Additional Project Director SASEC Dhaka Sylhet Corridor Road Investment Project and PPP Cell, Roads and Highways Department and Mr. Forrukh Rahman, Bar-at-Law, Advocate, Supreme Court of Bangladesh.
