We have the pleasure to announce that ICC Bangladesh (ICCB), National Committee of the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) The world business organization is going to organize a Conference on Energy – a vital and critical element for growth and development.

For your ready understanding, ICC, with its Hqs in Paris represents private sector to the multi-lateral & the inter-governmental agencies globally; including WTO, OECD,G8 and the United Nations.

This important Conference on Energy is being arranged in Dhaka on April 13, 2010 to coincide with the 15th Anniversary of ICC’s presence in Bangladesh.

The Hon’ble Prime Minister of the Government of Bangladesh H.E. Sheikh Hasina, M.P. has been invited to inaugurate the Conference as the Chief Guest. Ms. Ulla Tørnæs, Minister for Development Cooperation of Denmark and ICC Global Chairman Dr. Victor k. Fung have since accepted our invitation. We have also extended invitation to the President of the Asian Development Bank (ADB), President of the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), Executive Secretary of UNESCAP and a number of other dignitaries concerned with the development and financing of Energy Projects in Bangladesh. Besides, senior concerned Ministers of the Bangladesh Government as well as energy experts and prospective investors from home and abroad are going to participate in this Conference.
