ICCB President Mahbubur Rahman, ICCB Vice-President Rokia A. Rahman and DCCI President Asif Ibrahim left Dhaka on October 13 and attended the UNESCAP Business Advisory Council Meeting held in Kuala Lumpur on October 14. Mrs. Rokia Afzal Rahman and Mr. Aif Ibrahim will also be attending the Asia Pacific Business Forum 2012 in Kuala Lumpur on October15-16. Mrs. Rahman will moderate a session on Education and Training besides being a panelist at the session on Enhancing business competitiveness through trade and investment liberalization (business perspective). Mr. Asif Ibrahim will be a panelist at a session on Non-Traditional Opportunities in Business and Development.

ICCB President Mahbubur Rahman along with ICCB Executive Board Members Barrister Rafique-ul Huq, Senior Advocate, Bangladesh Supreme Court and Mahbub Jamil, Chairman, Singer Bangladesh Limited will be attending a series of meetings in Jakarta during October 15-17 including the World Export Development Forum (WEDF) organized by the International Trade Centre (ITC) in cooperation with the Ministry of Trade of Indonesia to be inaugurated by the President of Indonesia by H. E. Dr. Susilo Bambang Yudoyono, ICC Regional Consultative Group Meeting on October 15, ICC G-20 Advisory Meeting and International Trade Forum X on October 16. They have also been invited to attend the inauguration of “Indonesian Expo” to be held at Jakarta International Trade Fair Complex on October 17. The ICCB Team is likely to return to Dhaka on October 21.
