Naser Ezaz Bijoy has had a distinguished career in Banking, having spent nearly three decades with Standard Chartered in diverse leadership roles in corporate banking, risk, and audit with a geographic span covering Asia, Middle East, and Africa. His strategic experiences working in multiple jurisdictions were further augmented by providing policy advisory to Central Banks in Vietnam, UAE, Mauritius and Bangladesh on implementing the Basel Accord. Since 2017, he has been leading the Bangladesh franchise of Standard Chartered as Chief Executive Officer.

Under his stewardship the Bank has attained growth across all segments and executed a number strategic transactions that are aligned with the priority of the country, including the largest foreign investment in the private sector, the first cross border acquisition by a local corporate, strategic foreign investment in DSE by two leading stock exchanges in China, and many more. Naser is also leading the digital transformation agenda of the Bank, both in corporate and consumer banking segments. Naser has been representing Standard Chartered in FICCI since 2017 and has been a member of the Executive Committee of the chamber and the chair of the Banking and Financial Services Sub-Committee since 2019.

He was elected to be the president of FICCI in December 2021. He is also a director of Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce, trustee of Duke of Edinburgh Awards Foundation in Bangladesh, member of British Business Group Bangladesh, member of the governing board of Bangladesh Institute of Bank Management, and member of the council of Institute of Bankers Bangladesh.
